Signs of bed bugs
- Itchy bites in a line or cluster, often on arms, neck and legs
- Small blood spots on sheets and pillowcases
- Black dots along mattress seams and the corners of the bed frame
- Pale shed skins or tiny white eggs in folds and joints
- A sweet, musty smell in heavy infestations

Inspection
We check every bed, sofa, curtain edge, skirting board and socket near where people sleep or sit, to map how far they have spread.
Treatment
Mattress seams, bed frames, furniture joints and cracks are treated directly. We advise which items can be saved and which are better replaced.
Follow-up visit
A second visit after roughly ten to fourteen days treats the bugs that hatch from eggs laid before the first visit. This step is what actually ends an infestation.
How to prepare for the visit
- Wash all bedding, curtains and clothing from the bedroom at 60°C, or tumble dry on high heat, then keep it bagged
- Clear the floor and space under the beds
- Do not move furniture or belongings into other rooms, as it spreads the bugs
- Keep sleeping in the same bed. Moving to the sofa pushes the bugs to follow you

How many treatments do bed bugs need?
Almost always two, about ten to fourteen days apart. Bed bug eggs are protected from most treatments, so the second visit deals with the ones that hatch after the first.
Do I need to throw away my mattress?
Usually not. Most mattresses can be treated and then fitted with a bed bug proof encasement. Very old or badly damaged mattresses may be better replaced, and we will tell you honestly which is which.
Where do bed bugs come from in Dubai?
Travel luggage, second-hand furniture, shared laundry and neighbouring apartments are the usual sources. Bed bugs are not a sign of a dirty home.
Can I treat bed bugs myself?
Shop sprays rarely reach the cracks where bed bugs hide, and they can spread the infestation to other rooms. Professional treatment with a planned follow-up is far more reliable.
