Signs you have cockroaches
- Cockroaches running when you switch on the kitchen light at night
- Small dark droppings, like ground pepper, inside cupboards and drawers
- Brown egg cases in hinges, behind the fridge or under the sink
- A musty, oily smell in cupboards that does not go away
- Large cockroaches near floor drains, especially after the AC runs overnight

Inspection
We check kitchen cabinets, appliance motors, bathroom voids, drains and shafts to find where they hide and how they get in.
Targeted treatment
Gel bait in the cracks and hinges where German cockroaches live, and drain and void treatment for American cockroaches. Nothing is sprayed across open surfaces where you prepare food.
Follow-up visit
Cockroach egg cases are protected from treatment, so a second visit after about two to three weeks deals with the nymphs that hatch. Skipping this is the most common reason an infestation comes back.

How to prepare for the visit
- Empty the kitchen cabinets and drawers you use most, or clear the bottom shelves
- Put food in sealed containers and store it away from the treated areas
- Do not spray supermarket insecticide in the days before the visit. It scatters cockroaches and makes baiting less effective
- Tell us about any children, pets or anyone with asthma in the home
Cockroach control: frequently asked questions
How long does cockroach treatment take to work?
You will usually see more cockroaches for a few days as the bait draws them out, then a sharp drop within one to two weeks. The follow-up visit clears the next generation that hatches from protected egg cases.
Do I need to leave my apartment?
For gel baiting, usually not. For drain and void treatment we will tell you if you should stay out of a room and for how long, based on the product used and who lives with you.
Why do cockroaches keep coming back after I spray?
Surface sprays kill the cockroaches you see but not the ones hiding in walls, or the eggs. German cockroaches also learn to avoid many sprays. Baiting plus a follow-up visit targets the whole colony.
Are the big cockroaches coming from my neighbour?
American cockroaches often travel through drains and service shafts shared between apartments. We treat your drains and seal entry points, and it helps a lot if the building management treats the shafts too.
