How we treat it
Inspect and identify
We confirm whether they are honey bees or wasps, whether it is a passing swarm or an established hive, and exactly where the nest is.
Remove the nest
The colony, nest and comb are removed using protective equipment. Comb left inside a wall melts in the summer heat, stains walls and attracts ants, cockroaches and new swarms, so it has to come out.
Seal and prevent
We close the gap the bees used and advise on water sources and openings that attract new swarms to your villa.
How to prepare for the visit
- Keep children and pets indoors and away from the area
- Do not spray, hit or block the entrance. It makes the bees defensive and can trap them inside your walls
- Note where the bees are going in and out so we can find the nest quickly
- Tell us if anyone in the home is allergic to stings

Will a bee swarm leave on its own?
Often, yes. A swarm resting on a branch is usually looking for a new home and may move on within a day or two. If it stays longer, or bees start going in and out of a gap, they are building a hive and it needs removing.
Are honey bees dangerous?
Away from their nest honey bees rarely sting, but they defend a hive when disturbed. Several stings can be serious, and a sting can be life-threatening for someone who is allergic. If someone has an allergic reaction, call an ambulance on 998 straight away.
Why do bees keep coming to my villa?
Gardens with flowering plants, water from pools and irrigation, and sheltered gaps in walls, roofs and AC units give bees everything they need. Sealing openings after removal is what stops a new swarm moving in.
Why is removing the honeycomb important?
Comb and honey left in a wall or roof can melt in the heat, leak through ceilings and attract ants, cockroaches and other bees. Removing it completely prevents those problems.
